1st umbrella left on public transportation :(. 2nd ones my pups claws got a hold of on accident and finally my 3rd is safe and sound. ALL ARE AWESOME! however the 3rd one is the large version or the stick version. these are hard for me to hold and a bit unbalanced and again its me not the umbrella. these stand up to wind gust like u wouldn't believe. you could literally be Marry Poppins! the price is a bit much esp since i have been through 3! and yes, of course after the warranty for replacement. MY LUCK! you wont be disappointed at all! just get the size that is right for you and you will never have a bad day in the rain/wind storms. oh, well there is a down side actually. they don't auto close which is a bummer for sure. that would be super freakin helpul! but it's not like the end of the world for it missing that one very useful thing. i still love this brand and will always recommend
The umbrella is nicely constructed and it opens and closes smoothly. I plan to use it for short walks in light rain and it appears to be well suited to that role. Will it stand up to torrential rain and wind gusts of 40 mph? I don't know and I hope to avoid finding out. Over the past 60 years I've destroyed many umbrellas out in high winds and I finally learned my lesson: stay indoors until the storm is over.
I went nuts looking for a replacement umbrella for one I lost. I probably had it, ten years. Big, strong, great to walk the dog.I had bought another cheap one that completely blew apart in no time, so I went searching here reading all the reviews.I am extremely happy with this one. Very well made and had all the features I was looking for that my old one had. Strong hardware. Good materials. Size. Easy to open, close. This one seems to be better then my old one. The way it is designed it's not as high, wider, and easier to see. Fits two people under it easily. Has the flaps so wind does not catch it easily.Very happy, highly recommend so far, but will update.Color is very nice too.
We do not have a fenced in yard, so I wanted a large umbrella to take the new puppy out in the rain or snow. This goes up smoothly with a push of a button and if nice and big to hide under while the puppy does her business. I have used it on a mildly windy day, maybe 15-20 miles per hour, but it did not feel like it was going to turn inside out.It is a big with a nice spring for pushing the umbrella out, so closing it is a bit difficult- especially with a puppy on the leash. Most of the time it takes 2 pulls to try and close it. Over all, no complaints. I would probably buy another if this one broke
I bought this umbrella a few days ago and just received it today. When I took it out of the box I was immediately impressed. There is a small card attached to the handle with explicit instructions on how to log into and submit a report/comment if you're not satisfied with the umbrella. Sellers don't usually make it easy for you to complain. The, I slid the umbrella out of it's carrying strap sleeve and really liked the silky suede-like texture of the handle. It will be easy to maintain a grip even if my hands get wet. Then, I pushed the auto-open button and heard a satisfyingly solid sound upon the umbrella opening. This thing is very well-built and the 62" version is huge. I'm 6'2" and really appreciate that. There's a storm in the forecast tomorrow and I'm gonna need this. Oh, and I literally just went online and bought another one for my son. Super happy I found this.
